While that may eventually occur, the problem is that Louisville is confronting a team that made it into the CFP last year and owned one of the stingiest defenses in all of college football, devoting only 17.2 points over the regular season and going a perfect 12-0 till they fulfilled Clemson from the CFP semifinals. The Irish offense clicked on all cylinders as well, averaging 33 points per game over.
