The three-day summit is going to be the very first time have negotiated to hammer out the issues that are harder. Sides have met thrice this offseason.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported in May that talks have been described as”cordial” and”amicable” by multiple resources in the early phases. We’ll see if things become more contentious during the July meetings.
The CBA is set to expire after the 2020 campaign. The sides are currently hoping to get a jump start before that deadline becomes shut.
