Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan was granted a suspended sentence of 2 decades and eight months for firing a gun to cause fear and fear, illegal possession of weapons and injury.
Turan, who is currently on loan with Turkish club Basaksehir, will not go to jail unless he commits a crime in the subsequent five years, after a Turkish court deferred the implementation of the verdict.
The 32-year-old was involved in an Istanbul nightclub in a struggle with singer Berkay Sahin late last year, leaving the singer.
Turan later arrived with a gun which he fired in the ground, causing anxiety.
Basaksehir stated that they had fined the 31-year-old 2.5 million Turkish lira (#350,648) for the incident.
Turan united Barcelona from Atletico Madrid to get 34 million euros (#30m) in 2015, winning four prizes, making 55 appearances and scoring 15 goals for the La Liga club.
Turan and 100 occasions have performed Turkey and scored 17 goals.
