Manchester United’s Paul Pogba replaced by Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi in France squad

Paul Pogba has been substituted by Matteo Guendouzi in the France squad for their upcoming European Qualifiers.
Manchester United midfielder Pogba has withdrawn with 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder Guendouzi called from the France senior squad for the first time, with an arm.
The Lorient participant may make his national team debut at the upcoming qualifiers away and in the home against Albania in Andorra on 10 and September 7.
Because signing guendouzi, who has played 52 occasions, is called up from the U21 side of Sylvain Ripoll.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has been happy with the man-of-the-match display from the North London derby of Guendouzi .
Emery explained:”He is really young but he’s progressing. He gives us a lot of control and the combinations mean he essential in the team. He is one of the key players to do this.
“He is working to find a defensive balance and also working on his entire body to get stronger in the scenarios needed from the Premier League. Today was one measure more but he is very demanding of himself”
Pogba, who limped off in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton, was ruled out following consultations with France team doctor Franck Le Gall and staff at Old Trafford.
