Deontay Wilder on Anthony Joshua: ‘What his body said in that ring showed me everything that I need to see’

Deontay Wilder believes his”sixth sense” informs him that the”secret” reason Anthony Joshua dropped to Andy Ruiz Jr – and the rematch will proceed the identical way.

If Joshua defeats Ruiz Jr, an undisputed heavyweight championship fight could be resurrected, also Wilder remains unbeaten at a rematch with Luis Ortiz on November 23.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told Sky Sports this week:”I really don’t see the February fight [Wilder vs Fury] can occur.
“The entire world is considering Joshua-Ruiz Jr, also I really don’t believe anything can happen until that fight takes place. Ruiz Jr is with the [promoters] PBC and Al Haymon, and so is Deontay Wilder.
“If Ruiz beats Joshua, they will be seeking to make an inexplicable battle [against Wilder], but clearly if Joshua wins, then that throws out everything. Who can rule out Joshua against Tyson Fury at Wembley next summer?”
Joshua, requested if fights with Wilder and Fury would ever happen, told Sky Sports last week:”Yes, 100 per cent. That’s like asking if a football team will play a different soccer team. Obviously.
“We’re in exactly the same branch, in precisely exactly the identical time period. We have to fight with each other.
“We’re all big draws in the heavyweight division therefore that it would be massive.
“I would love to battle Wilder, I would like to fight Fury.”
