Brendan Rodgers new bookies’ favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs

Leicester City director Brendan Rodgers is the obvious favorite to take more than Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham, after beating this weekend.
A spate of stakes are placed on the Northern Irishman taking control at White Hart Lane following Pochettino, sending his cost.
Just 3 days ago, Rodgers was 8/1 to succeed the Argentine in the North London club, though that’s been slashed into 7/2, making him the clear favorite.
Approximately 36% of all bets in the past 24 hours have backed to shooting over from Pochettino, Rodgers, making him by far the very backed on the market.
That means he overtakes preceding favorite.
Elsewhere, Massimiliano Allegri chimes in as the next favorite for the job.
Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique follows next at 9/1, followed by Rafa Benitez (10/1), Thomas Tuchel (16/1), Diego Simeone (33/1) along with Carlo Ancelotti (33/1).
Pochettino (10/1) is currently the third favourite to be the next Premier League director to leave his post, now ahead of the likes of Steve Bruce (16/1).
Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat has now led to a dip in their chances drifting from 33/1 out to 75/1 to win the league.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson:”Moving into Pochettino’s sixth season in Spurs, arriving fresh from the Champions League final and really producing some worthwhile improvements to a severely depleted squad — couple would expect the Argentine to become under this much pressure just six games into this season.
“However, it appears he is, and also punters believe the Brendan Rodgers would be the man to take more than him if he does decide to depart.
“Rodgers’ Foxes aspect have been cut from 18/1 pre-season into only 5/1 to complete with a Champions League place, exemplifying exactly how great a job he’s doing at the King Power Stadium. That is certainly one to keep an eye on.”
