FA seeks answers from Manchester City about settlement over Liverpool scouting hack

The FA has contacted Manchester City to find out more about what led to Liverpool paying a settlement after a criticism they ventured to their training software to them.
The Reds paid City a fee in the area of #1m after complaining that their version of the software Scout 7 was accessed in 2013.
After several scouts transferred into Anfield from the Etihad, the settlement had been made a year.
It seems neither the FA nor the Premier League understood about this payment late last month, until the press reported it.
Premier League rules say they need a criticism to hold their investigation – something that has not been received thus far.
But FA rules state:A participant should always behave in the best interests of the sport and shall not behave in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute.
Both the Liverpool and Manchester City are yet to comment on this newest development.
Liverpool stated upon the initial report last month:we dont supply any comment on any allegations concerning legal agreements it might or might not have entered into with any other team, organisation or person.
