Jadon Sancho teams up with Nike to launch new south London pitch

Jadon Sancho has teamed up to help establish a football pitch in London in the hope of others.
Sancho, who raised at Kennington and had been born in Camberwell, played a role in the initiative to help enhance local facilities in south London.
Growing up in Kennington has left me the man that I am today; I spend a great deal to South London for nurturing how I perform, Sancho said. I am hoping the regional children feel empowered to share their stories through football and follow in my footsteps – that pitch being just the ignition point.
As the house of the Lambeth Tigers, a soccer club for young people aged six to 18, the pitch will offer the regional footballers of SE11 access to the very best facilities possible.
David Marriott and Jamahl Jarrett equally grew up on a nearby property and the 2 coaches helped with the founding of the club and described the pitch asrefuge for youngsters.
Theres a real need for safe places for these children to play in, said Jarrett. A pitch like this is similar to a refuge for kids, inviting them to enter soccer in a safe environment. The trendy, bright design is also just like a magnet – its a place where people will want to get out and play.
The Tigers will use the pitch to assist empower football programming and supply regular opportunities through training, training and workshops.
