Marcus Trescothick delivers batting batting masterclass for Sky Cricket

10,236 works were thrashed by marcus Trescothick for England – and demonstrated just how he did it.
The 41-year-old, who motivated 14 hundreds in his 76 Tests using a top of 219 against South Africa at The Oval, explained how playing with the ball was crucial to his victory in cricket. Trescothick announced he will retire at the end of their 2019 national year from cricket on Thursday.
“I was someone who had been aggressive, I wanted to score runs,” he said. “I didn’t need to bat all day to get a hundred, I still wanted to bat daily to receive 170. I had been hit ball, see ball tried to hit it and underneath my eyes.
“I never went far at the ball with foot movement and normally whenever you’re not receiving the contact you want, it’s because you’re hitting the ball too premature .”
Trescothick, who clubbed 12 ODI hundreds, also talked activate motions, keeping up your head while batting, as well as the keys to enjoying spin.
“I could constantly sweep, which was always my go-to shooter, but as I played better spinners in global cricket I had to create and be in a position to control the ball. You don’t need to get stuck at one end as the pressure builds.
“You are able to get on one knee and shred small faucet. Furthermore, if you run over the cover of the ballyou can almost splat it to the floor to select the bounce and also the twist from it”
