Mexican side Tigres score twice as Veracruz players strike during game

Mexican side Tigres scored two goals from other side Veracruz went on attack during the league game’s opening minutes.
Veracruz were over unpaid wages and stood as Tigres went 2-0 up, before heading on to win 3-1.
“They understood that people were planning to stay still for three minutes, it’s sad,” said Veracruz defender Carlos Salcido.
However, Tigres’ Guido Pizarro said:”They advised us they were going to stop only for a moment and it was .”
He added:”We [Tigres] would just stay still for a moment.”
Veracruz are bottom of the table without a win in 13 games and their players sarcastically applauded their Tigres counterparts in the game’s conclusion.
Tigres are next, three points off the lead.
