NFL, NFLPA to meet July 17-19 to negotiate new CBA

NFLPA and the NFL continue to attempt and hammer out a new collective bargaining agreement ahead of this 2019 season.
Sides will reconvene July 17-19 to operate toward a new CBA, the Mike Garafolo of NFL Network documented.

The information was reported by ESPN.
The summit is going to be the first time sides have negotiated for three successive days in a bid to hammer out the more difficult issues. Sides have met thrice this offseason.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported in May that talks have been described as”cordial” and”amicable” by numerous sources at the early stages. We’ll see if things become contentious during the July meetings.
The current CBA, signed in 2011, is set to expire after the 2020 campaign. The sides hope to get a jump start on many problems before that deadline gets close.
