Philadelphia Eagles cancel practice session due to injuries

Their practice was cancelled by the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday due to a season injury record that was lengthening.
Rather, head trainer Doug Pederson chosen to hold a walk-through on what could be a clinic day for the NFL team.
“Number one, together with the guys that are a bit nicked up who have a chance to play in this soccer game, I need them to find the rep in practice. Normally we proceed a cushioned afternoon,” said Pederson.
“And , we have some young men who might have to play, and they are also servicing the defense or the offense, and thus this way it enables everybody to practice and maintain their focus and get our job done that we need to get done now.”
One of the Eagles are tight end Dallas Goedert, Alshon Jeffery along with receivers DeSean Jackson, running back Corey Clement and defensive tackles Malik Jackson and Tim Jernigan.
Tight end Zach Ertz is currently dealing with tender ribs after taking a snapshot at Sunday’s 24-20 loss.
Pederson said Jackson will be joined by Jernigan in missing Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
“We understand Tim’s likely to be a tiny bit more,” Pederson said. “The other men are day-to-day, more daily. They’re doing well and we’ll have an update in the end of the week.”
