The club had been abandoned to the verge of liquidation following a buyer stopped their attention on Monday, prompting fans group Bury to declare they wouldnt keep their legal fight to prevent the HMRC winding-up request.
After being advised that the team had taxation debts judge Mark Mullen analysed the situation of Bury on Wednesday.
Lawyers representing HM Revenue and Customs had made an attempt to wind up the club, which was founded in 1885.
The judge said he would reconsider the situation on October 30.
Back in June, the judge had discovered that almost # 1m was owed by Bury and had debts.
Bury won marketing at the conclusion of the 2018-19 campaign, to Sky Bet League One footballs third tier.
