“There are advantages, but also things I was frustrated with,” said Giggs.
“It was important. We mentioned before it was a must-win match and we won it.”
Wales chose a lead when a Bale shooter hit Pavlo Pashayev and wrapped in for an own objective.
Mahir Emreli equalised for Azerbaijan before Wales captain Bale led in with just over five minutes to play, at the 58th minute.
“I was not happy with the first half,” Giggs said. “We did not play well, didn’t stick to the game plan. Too many errors, too many gamers off kind.

“We’re overly fussy to get to the goal, in too much of a hurry to perform those forward passes.
“Azerbaijan are great at what they do, so it’s the same outcome they had in Croatia. They could have scored two or even three in Croatia enjoying exactly the exact identical manner.
“It is not straightforward. I have been in games like that. You’re not certain whether to stick or twist, to perform with that danger ball or not but you must have that assurance. There were players in good form in the first halfof the
“Joe Rodon great for his first cap – wow, what a performance. Also Tom Lawrence worked hard and if he came on, Jonny Williams made a big difference.
“There were a lot of positives but I ask of gamers is that they play with their skill and there weren’t enough who did that tonight.”
