Syracuse vs. NC State NCAAF Pick – Week 7

The Syracuse Orange are in North Carolina for a meeting with the Wolfpack of NC State.

Its hard to determine in which Syracuse are in this stage in the season. We are currently at Nighttime 7 and Syracuse are trying to find an identity. Theyve looked good in spots, but dreadful in others.
I think this is a measuring adhered for them on the street on Thursday night. Then Syracuse could be a decent team, if they are able to put on the road. They enter Week 7 with a record of 3-2 with reductions from Maryland and Clemson.
Both of those games werent competitive, which brings us back. Losing 41-6 from Clemson is not the most surprising outcome, but their attempt from Maryland was one to forget about quickly.
The Terrapins attracted the hurt using a 63-20 win on the Orange. Since becoming blown out in that match, Syracuse dropped to Clemson and conquer Holy Cross and Western Michigan. Their third win this year came against Liberty, so what are the Syracuse Orange?
They havent beaten anybody impressive so night NC State does provide them with a decent battle on Thursday. The Wolfpack are in a place that is similar. They are going into Thursday with a record of 3-2 and also their finest wins have come against opponents. Their wins are from Ball State, Western Carolina, and East Carolina.
Not very striking and I think NC State have to lose compared to Syracuse. Especially considering how the injury document is shaping up to the Orange. Theyll be going into Thursday night banged up with a very long list on their accident report. Dino Babers expected to be fitter by today, but will probably be coaching without some important players. It makes it more difficult to gauge Cuse and Babers at 2019. Head under for our complimentary Syracuse vs. NC State pick.

Syracuse were confident the bye week was going to help them get healthier. Since the Orange are probably getting any member of the team who had been on the injury report, that isnt the case. Syracuse are expected to be without the services of defensive spine Ifeatu Melifonwu, security Andre Cisco , defensive lineman McKinley Williams, and centre Sam Heckel. We might go into the accident report, which can be very long, but those are the key losses for Syracuse night moving into a hostile environment Thursday.
The lack of Heckel from Clemson was evident from the 1st quarter. A Clemson line like Clemson was able to exploit the hole there and made life miserable on the Syracuse offense. It was tough for the Orange to sustain any push front offensively. Therefore it could be another long night to the Syracuse offensive line against NC State, syracuse have not had any form a test because getting blown out by Clemson. Their defense has been playing well, although the Wolfpack do not possess talent that is Clemson.
NC State are 32nd at the FBS with only 321 yards allowed per game. They have particularly strong against the run, using just 71.8 yards yielded per game for 6th in the nation. Getting Heckel would have been nice for Syracuse, but that will not be true in this matchup from the Wolfpack. Getting back a few bodies would help also. Despite allowing just 3 points against Holy Cross, they were torched against their three FBS opponents.
Eliminate the Holy Cross game, and Syracuse have let 45.6 points per match in their last three contests. They shutout Liberty in the season opener, but like Holy Cross, Liberty isnt an offensive evaluation. NC State will probably go to FSU transfer Bailey Hockman with a quarterback change within this .
Matthew McKay has not been sharp, so I think its a fantastic move for the Wolfpack. Hockman was an upgrade for the NC State offense and entered the game. I am not high on Syracuse traveling with injuries piling to NC State. Search for the Wolfpack to command the game off to get 35-24 or even a 33-20 win Thursday night.
