The UTEP Miners stay after a 36-34 win over Houston Baptist this week in the state of Texas.
A win over Houston Baptist, a team who have won only two matches the past two years, isn’t the best of wins. It’s UTEP’s first win at home since November of 2016, so that was reason. It also gave football fans in El Paso a thing to take their minds.

Texas Tech may not have a defense to contend with a crime like Oklahoma but this should be simple for them against UTEP. The Red Raiders shouldn’t be fooled by the option here.
